The food was excellent, and the service was welcoming. the view of the lake was stunning, and the bedroom was nice and comfortable. the bathroom was well-equipped, featuring a bathtub. the hotel's location in front of the Brissago Islands is marvelous. We really enjoyed this place - beautiful small hotel.
Location was marvellous, our room had amazing views. There where comfortable beds and an electronic key card, a multi-channel television, and a study table in the standard king room. The stuff was accommodating, friendly service. Location: the hotel was right by restaurant and Lugano or Locarno. Porto Ronco district was worth exploring.

Rooms have lovely terraces with stunning views of Lago Maggiore. the hotel is perfectly situated, just a short walk from great restaurants and surrounded by beautiful mountains and the lake. Plus, you get a fantastic view of the Brissago Islands right in front! 🌅.

The food was below average and over priced for what it was. Breakfast was very limited and the coffee was below standard. Not enough attention to detail and comforts of guests.

Very clean and very good bed. Breakfast really great, very versatile, absolutely fresh and the service spreads very pleasant atmosphere - great. Panoramic view from room and restaurant terrace. Room very quiet as long as the windows are closed. The iced tea to check in and the mineral water as "provisions" on departure are very nice gestures.
The hotel is probably from the 70s and looks "old-fashioned" although nothing is worn out. The balconies are not separated, so that one has no privacy. Room (economy) quite dark and small. Unfortunately, iced coffee is a vanilla coffee coupe with nuts, covered with cream and stirred through, and with 11SFR extremely expensive. The same applies to the room, which is with 255SFR plus!!! 9SFR parking for one night is far more expensive than other, more modern hotels with similar views in Ronco or Ascona.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, who were particularly helpful when my wife was unwell for a day or so. The hotel is peaceful, very comfortable and has wonderful views. Food good and served in a lovely room overlooking the lake. We really enjoyed our stay.
Would probably be useful to have a car, though the shuttle service is excellent. However, had we realised, the hotel would have arranged for a hire car for us. Would have been nice to have had coffee/tea making facilities in the suite.

The staff were very pleasant with a real willingness to help. the hotel was well maintained and calm. The food was of a good standard some greate wines and fantastic views across the lake. A good place to unwind and relax but close enough to find noise and excitment by bus or boat.
The room service options were unusual and limited. No tea and coffee facilities avialable within the junior suite which seems an oversight. Probably over priced vs other similar hotels around the world but the views are fantastic and guess thats the premiuim you pay.

The view from the window and the balcony. The breakfast was very good. Having a drink on the bar area was lovely with the stunning views.
Be careful the half board we booked was not a true half board. We had to pay a lot more which we only discovered on settling the bill. Booked.net needs to review this
